Short summary of the practice:

The project aims to analyse the state of scientific knowledge on the mental working condition factors. The objective was to analyze the relationship between work and health, considering the changes in the working world, and contribute to the timely development of occupational safety and health. In formulating conclusions and recommendations, the project aimed to expand beyond traditional occupational safety when appropriate. Additionally, it sought to identify relevant research gaps and propose ways to address them.

Detailed information on the practice:

The world of work is constantly evolving, as seen in the growing demands for employee flexibility and mobility. In addition to this, the nature of work itself is changing, becoming more diverse, complex, and, to some extent, more demanding. The project aims to explore how to evaluate mental load factors based on verified scientific knowledge, identify new work demands arising from changes in the working world, and uncover knowledge gaps regarding load constellations, their development, and impact on individuals. The project will focus on key design topics, available knowledge, and highlight research gaps. Following the model of humane work, it will consider not only potential risks but also aspects of work that promote personal development and well-being.
